Our PTA fundraisers help us plan and fund many wonderful
activities and events for our students. We follow the national
PTA standards which follow a 3 to 1 rule. For every fundraiser,
our goal is to at least partially support three non-fundraising
projects. We need and appreciate your
support in helping us meet our goals!
Fundraisers

This year we will host a
Fall Family BINGO & a
Spring Family Event. There is currently no plan to hold
a catalog fundraiser.
There will be other fundraisers sent home which are NOT
PTA-related. MES and RFL (Relay for Life) hold their own
fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds for
school programs and for charity organizations. For a
listing of these activities or events, please see our
'Scheduled events for 2011-2012' under the Parent
Resources menu link.

When you shop at Safeway from August 11 - September
14, we will receive 10% when you purchase participating
products marked with the 10% Back to Schools symbol!!

Do you want to register to support Mutual, but have you
lost your Safeway Club card? Please call the
Safeway Customer Service Center at 1-877-723-3929. A
Safeway representative will look up your account and
give you your card number. You also can update any
information that's in your record, such as if you've
changed your phone number or address. Then be sure to
use the phone number that Safeway has for you when you
pay at the store.

Labels for
Education
For more than 30 years, Labels for Education™ has
been awarding free educational equipment to schools in
exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family
of brands. It’s a fun, easy program where students,
families and members of the community work together for
a common goal.

Tyson Project A+
Tyson Project A+ is a special program sponsored by Tyson
Foods, Inc. designed to help schools earn extra money
quickly and easily. Through this program, we can raise
as much as $12,000 per school year. The money may be used in any way
Mutual Elementary School chooses to help our students
succeed.
Parents, school faculty members, and others in the
community clip and save labels from Tyson products that
feature the Project A+ logo. Each label is worth 24
cents for our school and collection is ongoing
throughout the school year.

GoodSearch and
GoodShop
GoodSearch is a search engine which donates
50-percent of its revenue to the charities and schools
designated by its users.
In 2007,
GoodSearch was expanded to include
GoodShop, an
online shopping mall of world-class merchants dedicated to helping fund
worthy causes across the country. Each purchase made via the GoodShop
mall results in a donation to the user's designated charity or school –
averaging approximately 3% of the sale, but going up to 20% or even
more.

My Coke Rewards
Here's a new way to help Mutual earn points that can be
used to purchase school supplies to benefit our
students. It's simple - buy one of the participating
brands, find the redemption code on the package, and
donate those points to Mutual. Don't want to register to
donate points? That's OK, you can send in the redemption
codes to the school office or email them to us using our
'contact us' link! Participating products include Barq's,
Coca-cola, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca,
Mello Yello, Minute Maid, Powerade, Nestea, Pibb,
Sprite, Seagram's, & VAULT! |

Target Helps our School!
Did you know there is an easy way to earn money for our school? All you
have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a
percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation
from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. To help us
earn money for Mutual, simply sign up to receive your Target Red Card or
Target Visa at a local Target store or online. Just visit
target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if
you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa®
or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to

Office Depot
When you shop at Office Depot you can help support
Mutual PTA programs! Office Depot will award 5% of
qualifying purchases in merchandise credit which can be
used towards FREE supplies! This program helps us to
purchase copy paper for the flyers and newsletters sent
home to keep our MES families informed about PTA events!
All you have to do to participate is tell the cashier that you would
like your purchases to support Mutual Elementary School!! It's that
simple!
