Tuition

Tuition for the 2022-2023 school year is $15,936. Tuition remains affordable due to generous donations from parents, alumnae, and members of the community. Although the actual cost of a Padua education far exceeds the tuition, philanthropic contributions enable students to receive the gift of a Padua education.

Padua Academy offers a variety of payment options to best fit the needs of each family.

Scholarships

Applicants for Padua Academy’s Class of 2023 earned over $350,000 in academic scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who possess a strong academic record and excel on the High School Placement Test. These awards are renewable each year.

Financial Aid

Padua Academy uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process our applications. Eligibility for financial aid is based on an estimate of a family’s ability to contribute to their cost of education. Awards, in part, are determined by the information provided on the SSS application.  Receiving an award one year is not a guarantee that the same dollar amount will be awarded in subsequent years; awards can change. This is due in part to Padua’s desire to assist as many families as possible.

Please note that a financial aid application must be completed each year to be considered for an award.  Padua Academy’s SSS school code is 5635.

Vision for the Future Aid

Through the Diocese of Wilmington’s Education Trust Fund, Vision for the Future, tuition assistance is offered to children attending Catholic elementary and secondary school whose parents struggle to afford the full cost of tuition.

Funds held within the Trust and restricted to the support of tuition assistance combined with those raised through the annual diocesan Share in the Spirit collection are distributed annually.

Applications are submitted online to FACTS, an independent agent assigned to evaluate the financial need of those seeking assistance.  Low- to middle-income families struggling with tuition expenses are encouraged to apply.

A Padua Academy education is an investment that alumnae fondly refer to as the greatest gift their families have given them.
